Odin Is One Month Old! (Pic heavy)

I can't believe our sweet little boy is one month old already! I started writing a post last week, but never had a chance to finish it. Who knew babies were so time consuming? I wish I had more time to blog, but seriously, I am typing this one handed because I'm feeding Odin right now (note: it took 4 days for me to put this post together!) So even though I had grand plans to fully document his first month of life, I'm just going to have to throw up some pictures with little notes. Basically, Odin is amazing, and I love being his mommy. It's incredible how much he's changed in one month! He's already outgrown Newborn size clothes, his neck is getting stronger, he gives us little smiles here and there, he coos and makes the funniest noises (like a baby raptor), and he's getting pretty dexterous. I'm so excited to watch him grow up, but I'm cherishing every single moment with him now, as my sweet little peanut.

Week One:

Fresh out of the hospital, asleep in Grandma's arms

Long neck!

Week Two:

Back in the hospital for 2 days with pre-eclampsia. Not fun!

Smiling in his sleep. At least someone was having a good time!

Feeling better, and can't wait to go home

Home at last, asleep in his basinette

Babies sure do sleep a lot

He's awake!

Working out his arms

I love when he makes this face

Not a fan of sponge baths. He still has his stump, so no real baths just yet

  5. Kendall you are doing a great job being a mommy. These pictures are great and I love that Odin is becoming more aware of his surroundings. Kendall, you look so skinny in your PJs and robe. He will be almost 2 months old when you visit at Christmas time. I can't wait to hold him again.
